Hacked!

Aargh! It seems one of my e-mail accounts has been hacked.

I’m so sorry if I’ve seemingly bombarded you with spam e-mails, I really am.  I’m doing all that I can to destroy any pesky spy-ware that has found its way onto my numerous computers (in fact, I think I’ve already found the culprit).  Please disregard any e-mails from me that look suspicious in any way – don’t be tempted to download any attachments or click on any links.

If I find the people responsible, I’m setting Mojo onto them…  The swines.

Merry Christmas And A Happy New Year!

I’m wrapping up (pun intended!) the Blog for 2009 now, so I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all customers, past and present, for their support in 2009. I hope you all have a fantastic Christmas and a wonderful year in 2010.

Foxy!

This may possibly be the worst photo I’ve ever exhibited on the Blog, but ho-hum.  This little fox has been knocking around on our land recently so he/she naturally has to be featured!  Is any other example of wildlife, in any country around the world, as much maligned as our Fox?

And The Winners Are…

Thanks so much to everyone who visited the Blog and left a comment on the Google Wave post – I wasn’t expecting quite so many responses!  All the comments were great ones in their own right, but there can be only 3 winners.

Drum-roll, please…

So, why do you deserve a Google Wave invite?

Sam Rendell
“Because I am not stupid enough to pay £90 for a beta invite for a networking site?”

Rob Bejusca
“By sending me this invite all your dreams will come true… period”

DAP
“Coz i wont 2 uz it 2 chat breeze wif my bredbins innit.

Peace brrrrap”

Congratulations!  Invites are winging their way to you now!

Google Wave!

EDIT: Wow!  I really didn’t expect there to be as much of a response!  Thanks to everyone who left a comment.  I’ve chosen the three winners and will be blogging about it later today…  Check back then!  :)

I’m a bit excited about Google Wave – seeing as I’m already a fan of Facebook and Twitter – and have just landed myself an account!

As you may know, these accounts are a bit exclusive at the moment and Google kindly give you a few invitations to hand out to friends who may be interested in joining too.  So, for a bit of fun… I’m going to give three of them away!  These invites are currently selling for up to £90 on eBay!

All you have to do is leave a comment on this post and, in a single sentence, tell me why you deserve a Google Wave invite?

I’ll choose the 3 funniest and send an invite!  Simples!

I’m Eating My Dinner

I love Facebook and I love Twitter.  There, I said it.

It’s not quite an obsession, but it’s just really, really hard to avoid visiting whenever I’m online!  I just the love the fact that you can share interesting videos, photos and articles, as well as see what your friends are up to very quickly.

As long as you’re not updating your status, or Tweeting, with such gems as:

I’m eating my dinner

I’m sooo busy!” – So busy, in fact, you’re on Facebook? Ha!

34 days until my holiday!” – Usually followed, the next day, by33 days until my holiday!” – and so on…!

Anyway, it’s all good fun!  If you’re on Facebook and/or Twitter then add me and we can let each other know what we’re having for dinner, when we’re off to bed and how many days until our holiday!  Can’t wait!

Pants On Fire

No, it’s not the new track by Kings Of Leon, it refers to me being a big, fat liar.

The Blogpost I made on Saturday (You Don’t Take A Photograph) talked of taking the flash off the camera to create interesting and cool lighting. In effect, making a photo rather than taking it.

In the post I gave these two photos as examples of photos taken with off-camera flash.

A few people have been asking for a bit more information about the photos, such as what the flash settings were and if flash modifiers were used. I have to make a full and frank confession:

Only one of the photos used flash. The other used 100% natural lighting.

I’m not going to tell you which is which (try and figure it out for yourself) but it just goes to show that while you can spend literally hundreds upon thousands of pounds on equipment to provide you with more light, shouldn’t you just start by looking for better light in the first place?
