Well, it’s better than writing it in the snow.

Or should that be Old-Skool to be down with the kids? I don’t know. Either way, I’ve added to my old camera line-up with this beauty, an Olympus OM10.
It’s loads of fun, actually, shooting film. I know some photographers bemoan those that go backwards, rather than forwards, but so what? I enjoyed the process of using film and that’s all I care about. There’s something almost cathartic about taking your time over the photo and having so many different bits to check before you press the shutter. Then, of course, you get to use the winder and that’s just cool! *Kerrrrrrr-clunk-click*
Anyway, I’ve still got to get the film processed and I’m in the middle of re-mortgaging to afford the cost of more film… So stay tuned!

That’s true, Timothy. There’s a lot less machine-gunning with film. I can shoot 57 photos in one go at 8fps with digital. With film, I’d be bankrupt doing that!
There is nothing wrong with using film. You can’t beat it. I got a 4×5 camera for landscapes just because nothing in the digital age can beat it.
When using film, I think photographers compose there images much more.
