Of Amsterdam, no less.
What a great place. I really enjoyed a weekend here with friends recently and we had a fantastic time. It was nothing like I thought it would be. Instead, it was friendly, safe and devoid of Stag-Dos.
I was actually ashamed with myself because I’d refused to bring a ‘proper’ camera for fear of it being stolen. Instead, I decided upon a couple of £5 disposable film-cameras. The pictures weren’t terrific but for £5, I think they’re great.
I would reccomend Amsterdam to anyone with the only downside being the cost. It can be very pricey in some places; a main course in a (very average) restaraunt can be around £30 and for a pint of beer you’ll be paying £6-9. Take lots of spending money and you’ll never regret going!
