It’s always nice when you’re offered compliments from people who see your photos, but it’s another thing when a band decides that your photo should adorn the cover of their Album or EP.
I recently covered the band, Ruberlaris, at a couple of gigs and then got asked to do a few photos for some promotional flyers they were producing. Those photos can be viewed here. Then, when I saw Chris (the lead singer) he told me that they’d decided to use one of my shots for their cover. I was blown away! It’s the highest compliment that I’ve ever received. So, thanks guys, it’s very flattering!
Ruberlaris’s EP is out now at most independant record shops througout the UK (it’s in Hudsons in Chesterfield if you want to get it locally!) and it’s really, really good! You can listen to some of their songs recorded live for the BBC here.
