More Bands?

Yes, more bands!

It feels like I’ve taken photos of more bands recently than I have of anything else. In fact, a quick glance through my photo-library suggests that I have.

Not that I’m complaining though, I really enjoy doing band-shoots. Before 2008 I had never taken a photo at a gig before and now I’m learning all the little things that come with the experience. This inevitably makes a big difference to the photos.

It’s the same as with a wedding really. It’s not until you’ve worked at a fair few that you’re confident about what’s actually happening right at that second and what’s about to happen. There’s a lot of anticipation involved and if you’re able to correctly assume the next ‘big’ moment then you’re half way there.

NOTE: It wouldn’t be a Ruberlaris gig without a stage invasion by half-naked drunk blokes, would it?
